The only personal information this website receives comes through its quote form. At the moment no roofing firm is linked to this site; requests are read but nobody acts on them, and each one is erased within 30 days.

Who is responsible

The controller of any data sent through the site is Neil Evans, trading as Bearsted Conservatory Roofs as a sole trader. Anything about your data can go to hello@bearstedconservatoryroofs.co.uk.

What the form asks for

Required: your name, a phone number, the postcode of the house, the roof you are thinking about and what is on the roof today. Optional: an email address, the conservatory’s shape, the direction it faces, the main problem, your timing, a note and up to two photos. The site runs no tracking or visitor measurement of any kind.

What happens to a request

While no firm is connected, nobody replies to requests. They are not passed to anyone, never sold, never used for marketing, and photos stay private. Each request is erased within 30 days of arriving.

Where it is kept, and why

Requests are delivered by email, photos included, to a Gmail mailbox run by Google. Krystal Hosting Ltd runs the UK server the website sits on. Neither company makes any use of the information for itself. The legal basis is legitimate interests: anyone sending a request wants it looked at.

Your rights

Using the address above, you can obtain a copy of the information held about you, have it corrected, or have it erased sooner. Such requests are answered within a calendar month. If the answer does not resolve things, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) can look at your complaint through the ICO’s complaints page.
